U.S. sees worst inflation rate in 27 years

Inflation is officially here, according to new statistics from the Department of Labor. The wholesale cost of finished goods increased 1.8 percent in June. That's the fastest year-over-year increase since 1981. Pet food alone was up 6 percent from May. Many vendors have been increasing prices for food, medications and retail items quarterly citing increased costs associated with production and distribution.  Unfortunately, these costs increases have found their way down the line to the clients and have left many people angered and frustrated. Telford Veterinary Hospital is committed to working with our vendors and suppliers and negotiating the best prices possible to continue bringing our clients affordable products at reasonable prices. We appreciate your patience as we, the industry and the nation work through these difficult economic times.
