Jonathan Detweiler - Hospital Administrator

 
Mr. Detweiler is the Hospital Administrator and one of the owners of Telford Veterinary Hospital, joining Dr. Minninger and the senior staff in 2006. He received his degree in Emergency Management from Hahnemann University in 1998. He began his career in public safety as a Paramedic and managed several Emergency Medical Service organizations before making the career shift into Veterinary Medicine.  With this diverse background he brought new ideas and concepts to the veterinary business. Mr. Detweiler believes that leadership through a consistently, positive example is the only way to ultimately achieve success in business. Capitalizing on every opportunity to help the staff grow is the foundation of his daily activities. He is pictured here with his jack russell, Bailey, who joins him everyday in the office. In his down time he enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, camping and cooking. 

Patricia Silvestri - Patient Care Coordinator

Ms. Silvestri started with Telford Veterinary Hospital in 2005 as a Veterinary Technician. She joined the Senior Staff in August of 2007 as the Patient Care Coordinator. She had provided a variety of support roles prior to being promoted including that of primary clinical training officer. She received her A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology and Animal Science from Manor College in 1989. Ms. Silvestri now manages the hospital’s clinical staff including the Veterinary Technicians and Assistants. She started as a Veterinary Assistant in 1984 and now brings nearly three decades veterinary experience to the management team.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Technician's Association (PVMTA)and the Native American Veterinary Services (NAVS).  She is married and the mother to Coonhound/Shephed mix named Ringo (pictured here with her) and  three domestic short hair cats cats named Isabella, Willow and Luigi; all of whom she rescued as trauma cases from Emergency Services facilities.  She loves spending time in the great outdoors, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, gardening and traveling out west.

Linda Smith - Patient Care Coordinator

Ms. Smith started with Telford Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist in September 2006. In June 2008 she joined the Senior Staff as the Client Care Coordinator. She brings more than 25 years of office and management experience with her to this position. Ms. Smith now manages the non-clinical staff and represents Telford Veterinary Hospital at the Penn Suburban Chamber of Commerce events. When she is not working Ms. Smith enjoys painting in watercolors and the outdoors.  Ms. Smith is pictured here with her favorite patient, "Mortenfrinkel Shmoehawk" or more affectionately known as Morty.
