Telford Veterinary Hospital “Free Heartworm Preventative for a Year” Giveaway Rules:

1. Eligibility Restrictions:

The Telford Veterinary Hospital’s “Free Heartworm Preventative for a Year” giveaway is open to all persons who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in the hospital service area as determined by management. The Hospital service area is defined by, but not limited to, the counties of Bucks, Chester, Montgomery and Philadelphia in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The contest will begin on February 18, 2010 and continue through March 31, 2010.  The drawing for the prize will be on or before April 15, 2010. 

Employees of Telford Veterinary Hospital, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other Veterinarians/Veterinary Clinics/Veterinary Hospitals in the Hospital service area and the members of their immediate families (residing in the same household residence) are ineligible to participate or win.

Only one winner per household is permitted in the contest.  Selection of the winners will be at random and winners will be notified by Telford Veterinary Hospital staff to the phone number provided in online quiz.

Winner must have completed on the online quiz provided through ProProf.com and scored greater than the 85^th percentile.  Winner must also provide proof of a valid heartworm test, performed within the past 365 days, from a licensed veterinarian for the pet receiving the prize.

2. Prize Claims:

All prizes and must be picked up at the Telford Veterinary Hospital, 78 Souderton Hatfield Pike, Souderton, PA Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm. The office is closed on weekends and National holidays. Any prize not claimed within thirty (30) days of winning will be forfeited by the winner and ownership will revert back to Telford Veterinary Hospital.  

All prizes must be claimed in person by the actual prize winner. Prizes will not be given to any person other than the actual prize winner. Prizes cannot be mailed to prize winners.

Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.

The prizes to be awarded will be as follows: one (1) full year of heartworm preventative treatment for dogs (Interceptor by Novartis) and one (1) full year of heartworm preventative treatment for cat (Revolution by Pfizer).

3. Conditions:

Decisions of hospital management with respect to the contest are final and are not open to appeal.

By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name or likeness used in any advertising material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.

Telford Veterinary Hospital in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the contest process, the operation of telfordvet.com (website) or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The hospital further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned.

Telford Veterinary Hospital reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.

Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a participants’ disqualification, at the sole discretion of Telford Veterinary Hospital.

Telford Veterinary Hospital is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
