Please let us introduce the team of hospital nursing staff and veterinary receptionists who will be working with you and your pets during your visit.  In addition to the Client Care Coordinator and the Patient Care Coordinator, these highly trained and experienced individuals are committed to providing you with excellent customer service and top notch veterinary care. 

 

Chris B. - Veterinary Technician

Chris has been a member of the clinical team as a Veterinary Technician since September 2010.  She has always had a strong love for animals as she grew up watching her father work with dairy cattle.  She obtained her B.S. in Biology from Penn State and an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Lehigh County Community College and began working full time in the veterinary industry in 1994.  Today she enjoys reading and can be sometimes found at coffee shop deeply engrossed in a new book.  She shares her home with a Persian cat named Penelope Plum, a domestic short hair cat named Carter and a Pit bull mix named Antonio (pictured here) who frequently joins her at the office.    

 

Kirstin C. - Veterinary Technician

Kirstin is now one of our highly skilled Veterinary Technician after initially joining the clinical team as a Veterinary Assistant in February 2011.  She began her professional career in Marketing and always felt a strong love for animals and wanted to do something new that she felt "made a difference."  With a B.S. in Psychology from DeSales University in 1996, she returned to Lehigh County Community College and obtained an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology in 2011.  Kirstin is now married and is an avid cook who enjoys reading and spending time with her family.  She has three domestic short hair cats named Bumper, Pumpkin (pictured here) and Noodle.

 

Katlyn R. - Veterinary Technician

Katlyn is a brand new addition to the hospital team, so new that her bio and picture aren't even complete.  She joined the clinic staff in a relief capacity when one of the Veterinary Techicians took a medical leave and she fit in so well, I don't think anyone is going to let her leave.  She is Veterinary Technician with a solid background and diverse amount of experience, she currently assists as a Surgical Techinician where needed.

 

Debbie G. - Veterinary Assistant/Dog Trainer

Debbie is one of the most versatile members of the clinical team, currently serving as a Veterinary Assistant and Dog Trainer, this after starting as Veterinary Receptionist in March of 2008.  Like many of her counterparts, she always liked animals growing up but Debbie took it as step further as a child bringing in strays and even leading two wayward horses home once.  Debbie got her start in the veterinary industry with grooming and then spent several years as a Senior Vet Tech with Animal Control in Florida.  She is Certified American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Program Evaluator and conducts Basic Obedience and Puppy Socialization Classes at the Hospital.  When not at work, she enjoys Tae Kwon Do and canine agility training.  She is married with three kids and three grandchildren and they share their home with a Pit bull mix named Nakita, a Pit bull named Lacey (pictured here), two domestic short hair cats named Gator and Oscar and a 40 year old turtle named Mr. Turtle.

 

Maddie G. - Veterinary Assistant

Maddie was one of the Hospital's newest additions when she came on staff in October of 2011.  She too has had a lifelong love for animals and enjoys helping both pets and owners alike.  She started working as a Veterinary Assistant in 2007 and graduated from West Chester University in 2011 with B.S. in Biology.  She lives an active lifestyle, playing rugby, riding her horse and spending time with her husband.  They share their lives with an Australian shepherd mix named Reilly, a Pit bull/Beagle mix named  Bruce, two domestic short hair cats named Gizmo and Roxanne, a ferret  named Frosty (pictured here), a Quarter horse named Peabody, four parakeets, and three finches in a pear tree (actually there is no pear tree, we made that up.)

 

Mike G. - Veterinary Assistant

Mike is one of the longest tenured team members and has served as a Veterinary Assistant since July 2005.  He originally came to the hospital on a work study program from Souderton Area High School and after excelling rapidly his veterinary duties was offered a position as a Veterinary Assistant.  He graduated in 2010 from Penn State University with a B.S. in Biology and is currently working fulltime for Johnson and Johnson doing research.  He enjoying spending time with his friends and has a Lhasa Apso named Malcolm and a Shih Tzu named  Sacha.

 

Jessica B. - Veterinary Assistant

Jess is one of our youngest Veterinary Assistants who joined the clinical staff in June 2010.  She has always loved animals and has been riding horses since she was 10 and wanted to have a career that would allow her to be close to animals and enable her to help both them and their owners.  She is currently attending classes at Harcum College and pursuing a A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, horseback riding, playing soccer or snowboarding.  Jess has two domestic short hair cats named Roxy and Chloe and a Thoroughbred named Devlin (pictured here).

 

Lisa C. - Veterinary Receptionist

Lisa joins our hospital team in one of the few non-clinical positions we have as a Veterinary Receptionist.  She joined us early in 2011 when she made a brand new transition into this industry.  She always had a desire to work with animals and had nearly a decade of experience in Marketing and Customer Service and was a natural fit for the Hospital.  She received a B.S. in Business Marketing and Human Resource Management from Temple University in 2001 and will be attending Lehigh County Community College in 2012 to pursue an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology.  When she is not serving clients at the front desk, she enjoys reading and shopping.  Lisa has a very special place in her heart for feline creatures and she has three very special domestic short hair cats that share her life; Aslan (pictured here), Chase and Keiko Marie.
