RECEPTIONISTS – Not hiring at this time
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparing and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling prescriptions, over-the-counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.
VETERINARY TECHNICIANS – Now Hiring
Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.

Qualifications / Requirements – Previous relevant experience desirable. The ability to administer vaccines, perform blood draws, place catheters, and familiarity with diagnostic equipment is required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities. Strong computer skills. Work requires lifting and carrying animals up to 50lbs unassisted. Walking or standing for extended periods of time and frequent bending. May be exposed to hazards such as unpleasant odors & noises, exposure to bites, scratches, and contagious diseases.
Preference for candidates who are proficient in surgical preparation and assisting, knowledge of Fear Free patient handling, and Cornerstone software.
Hours/Working Schedule – Full-time position. Must be able to work morning, evening, and weekend shifts. Flexible availability is a must, as is the ability to regularly work weekend shifts.

Telford Veterinary Hospital is a Fear Free Certified Practice in search of a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their growing veterinary team, the practice is nestled in the beautiful Indian Valley less than an hour north of Philadelphia. The ideal candidate must have a heart for animals, a passion for veterinary medicine, and a mind focused on delivering exceptional client service. We are a fast-paced, small animal practice providing wellness/preventative/sick care, advanced in-house diagnostics, surgical procedures, digital radiology, dental care, therapeutic laser therapy, behavioral training, and hospice/end-of-life care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets. We have a close-knit, family-oriented team that includes two incredible doctors and an excellent technical/support staff.
