Jonathan Detweiler - Hospital Administrator
Jon is the Hospital Administrator and one of the owners of Telford Veterinary Hospital, joining Dr. Minninger and the senior staff in 2006. He received his degree in Emergency Management from Hahnemann University in 1998. He began his career in public safety as a Paramedic and managed several Emergency Medical Service organizations as well as Medevac companies before making the career shift into Veterinary Medicine.  With this diverse background he brought new ideas and concepts to the veterinary business. Jon believes that leadership through a consistently, positive example is the only way to ultimately achieve success in business. Capitalizing on every opportunity to help the staff grow is the foundation of his daily activities.  He also works closely with Dr. Minninger to deliver a specialized Canine Emergency Care class to law enforcement canine officers as well as a Canine Critical Care class to local EMS professionals who are having an increasing exposure to injured pets. In his time away from the practice he enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, camping and cooking.
Nina G. - Veterinary Technician/Home Delivery Specialist
Nina started as a Veterinary Technician with Telford Veterinary Hospital in 2006.  She has been working fulltime with animals since she graduated with A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology as a Licensed Veterinary Technician from Harcum College in 2002.  She is an incredibly dedicated clinician and is also affectionately known around the office as the team jokester who capable of pulling off the most elaborate of pranks.  Her experience and expertise has been put to work as the Home Delivery Specialist managing medication requests through our home delivery pharmacy system and interacting with clients as working to make their online experience as good as possible.  Nina enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Kirstin C. - Surgical Technician/Veterinary Technician
Kirstin first started with Telford Veterinary Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant in 2010 and now serves as a license Veterinary Technician.  She graduated with A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Northampton Community College in 2011 and received a B.S. in Psychology from DeSales University in 1996.  She is an extremely skilled clinician and she currently works as a Surgical Technician directly assisting the veterinarians in routine and emergency procedures.  Kirstin enjoys spending time with her husband as well as two domestic short hair cats named Sprinkles and Noodle.
Lisa C. - Veterinary Technician
Lisa joined our hospital team in 2011 as a Veterinary Receptionist.  She made a brand new transition into this industry after spending nearly a decade in Marketing and Communications.  She was soon promoted to the Non-Clinical Coordinator position in 2012 and under took a variety of client based responsibilities.  She returned to school and graduated from Lehigh County Community College in 2015 with an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology as a Licensed Veterinary Technician after earning a B.A. in Marketing from Temple University in 2001.?While on an internship for school, Lisa developed a passion for Veterinary Emergency Care and she spends time teaching Surgery and Anesthesia to second year Veterinary Technician students at Manor College. When she is not serving clients she enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with family and friends.  Lisa has a very special place in her heart for feline creatures and she has three very special domestic short hair cats that share her life; Aslan (pictured here), Chase and Keiko Marie
Jess B. - Surgical Technician/Veterinary Technician
Jess is one of our youngest Veterinary Technicians who joined the clinical staff in June 2010.  She has always loved animals and has been riding horses since she was 10 and wanted to have a career that would allow her to be close to animals and enable her to help both them and their owners.  She graduated from Harcum College in 2015 with a A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology and she is currently studying for her licensing boards. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, horseback riding, playing soccer or snowboarding.  Jess has two domestic short hair cats named Roxy and Chloe, a pitbull named Ripley and a Thoroughbred named Devlin (pictured here).

Megan Z. - Veterinary Technician
Megan started with Telford Veterinary Hospital in 2014 after deciding to go back to school to become a Veterinary Technician.  She graduated in 2011 from East Stroudsburg with a B.S. in Athletic Training.  She worked in the Sports Medicine field for four years as she served high school athletes as a Sports Trainer and Emergency Medical Technician.  Her prior pets, both a basset hound and a boxer, ignited her lifelong passion for veterinary care and inspired a big career change.  She has completed her studies as a Veterinary Technician and is now studying for her licensing boards.  Megan is looking to integrate her backgrounds in sports medicine and physical therapy with her love for veterinary care as pets heal and recover from injuries.  She enjoys meeting new pets and clients in our local retirement communities as she works with Dr. Kline in our Mini-Clinic programs.  She likes to volunteer at her church and spend time with her family, friends and fiancé.  Megan is also interested in Search and Rescue and is actively working with Dr. Minninger to identify the right four legged family member to work by her side.

Mike G. - Veterinary Assistant/Clinical Development Coordinator
Mike is one of the longest tenured team members and has served as a Veterinary Assistant since July 2005.  He originally came to the hospital on a work study program from Souderton Area High School and after excelling rapidly at his veterinary duties was offered a position as a Veterinary Assistant.  He graduated in 2010 from Penn State University with a B.S. in Biology and left the hospital to pursue a research position with Johnson and Johnson.  He returned to the staff in a full-time capacity in 2014 to continue the work he started as a Veterinary Assistant.  He is a client favorite and has a variety of hospital duties including management of the prescription diet program.  Mike also is one of the hospital's Clinical Development Coordinators, he acts as a liaison between the hospital's senior staff and our vendors, manufactures and drug companies.  He enjoys spending time with his friends, traveling, and entertaining his Airedale Terrier named Seamus.
Maddie G. - Veterinary Assistant
Maddie is one of the hospital's talented Veterinary Assistants.  She too has had a lifelong love for animals and enjoys helping both pets and owners alike.  She started working as a Veterinary Assistant in 2007 and graduated from West Chester University in 2011 with B.S. in Biology.  She lives an active lifestyle, playing rugby, riding her horse and spending time with her husband.  They share their lives with a Pit bull/Beagle mix named  Bruce, two domestic short hair cats named Gizmo and Roxanne, a ferret named Frosty (pictured here), a Quarter horse named Peabody, four parakeets, and three finches in a pear tree (actually there is no pear tree...we made that up).
Tana H. - Veterinary Assistant
Tana was a hospital client for 10 years before joining our staff as a Veterinary Assistant in 2014.  She brings with her many years  of experience and enthusiasm for training in dog sport activities including conformation show handling, competitive canine weight-pulling, competitive flyball racing and dabbling in agility and rally obedience.  Tana - shown here on the right with her dog Grunt - lines up  at the start of a flyball race with one of her teammates, Jennifer R. and Mayhem on the left (Photo by Tiffany Duffy Photography).
Amanda W. - Veterinary Assistant
Amanda joined Telford Veterinary Hospital team in 2015. She had always had an interest in all things related to animals throughout her entire life. Amanda is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Medical Technology at Wilson College. Amanda was a member of the Souderton Summer swim team from the age 6 up through high school and swam for the Souderton High School Swim team as well. In her downtime away from school and work, she is a lifeguard for the Souderton community pool and serves as swim lesson instructor. Her willingness to help others and and her compassion towards animals serves her well. She has two fish and a domestic shorthair cat named Ruby.
Miriam N. - Veterinary Assistant/Clinical Development Coordinator
Heidi and Kylie - Office Demi-queens
Heidi and Kylie are American Dingos that live with the practice owners.  These unusual creatures were orginally donated to and adopted for the purpose of Canine Search and Rescue work but they were more equipped for Therapy Dog work.  Heidi (pictured left) is a certified Therapy Dog and Kylie is finishing her training and working toward certification.  They can be found at the hospital in their owner's office, frequently wandering the hallways and occassionally greeting clients at the front desk.  They love the great outdoors and kids, and they are skilled hunters.  American Dingos are one of the only dogs indigenous to the United States, their ancestoral brothers and sisters can be found in the swamp lands of the Carolinas and Georgia.  They are a barkless breed with incredibly strong pack nature.  If you are lucky, they may just "yodel" for you
